Ms. Keryakes is currently the Manager of the User Interface Design team at Art Technology group where she manages a team of nine User Interface specialists including usability engineers, user interface designers and user interface developers. She is responsible for the look and feel, usability and consistency of the user experience of all ATG applications. In her time at ATG she has created the User Interface team itself, introduced and developed the role of Business Analyst, created a formalized process for the ATG Product Development Cycle, introduced and developed functional specification and user interface wireframe standards and templates.

Ms. Keryakes was previously a Senior Consultant with CSC’s netXperience Practice where she brought eight years of experience to her position as Architectural Specialist. Ms. Keryakes is also the sole proprietor of a small, full-service web development and print publishing company. She brings creative ingenuity, injecting the influence of her education in mass communications and advertising to each of her projects. Her experience as a Project/Team Manger has demonstrated her efficiency in client interaction, project planning and organization. One of Ms. Keryakes’ unique abilities is to not only participate in and lead business analysis requirements gathering but also interpret how those requirements should translate into the visual, technical and usability aspects of the user interface. She has developed a strong process background, having taken projects through business requirements gathering, work and review sessions, storyboard and prototyping, visual design iterations and reviews, and the development and reviews of the UI and the final application.

When her original employer, Onward Technologies, was acquired by CSC, Ms. Keryakes was involved in educating CSC teams on the use of the Onward 4D process, and its integration into CSC’s Catalyst process. This experience has given her a strong insight into the stages of project development and the integration points for each discipline during the life of a project. In addition to her strong business and management skills, Ms. Keryakes is an expert in the technical integration of front-end technologies with design, usability and back-end architecture and is proficient in HTML, XHTML, Javascript, DHTML and cross browser DOM specifications. She has experience in Creative and Art Direction, User Interface Architecture and Design, ColdFusion, Flash, video/sound editing.
